¡Nuevo dominio, y nuevo y mejorado formato! Hay varios cambios en esta nueva página, aunque le quedan algunos más, por ejemplo, está sin diseñar todavía, pero perdonadme por ahora, ya sabéis que en casa del herrero, cuchillo de palo...

Al principio solo aparecieron en clubs y lounges … ahora conquistan nuestro salón Papeles de los 70.
Nos dicen: “No sea tímido... olvídese de las paredes blancas y frías de siempre y atrévase a dar un toque diferente y desenfadado a su hogar.”
Me gustan mucho pero no se si me veo empapelando el salón con ellos, probablemente solo un trozo de pared.

Hotel Arte- Luise - Berlin

Cuando estuvimos allí nos quedamos en este hotel, El Arte Luise Kunsthotel
Que recomiendo por precio, interés y localización.

“El hotel es un conjunto formado por un palacio clásico de 1825, que fue clasificado monumento histórico, y por un edificio anexo, erigido en 2003. Tiene 50 habitaciones, un lobby espacioso y una sala de exposiciones destinada a eventos artísticos.
Todas las habitaciones han sido decoradas por artistas diferentes. Las esculturas que decoran la entrada del hotel y las frases que van subiendo por las escaleras acompañan al huésped.”
A nosotros nos tocó esta habitación 101 “Drei Damen in Rot” (Tres damas de rojo)
con techos altísimos de 4 metros y una pared con un mural de tres mujeres sobre un fondo rojo de la artista alemana Elvira Bach



Se encuentra a dos pasos del Reichstag y a orillas del río Spreee, el hotel está a tan sólo unos minutos a pie de la Friedrichtraße, del paseo Unter den Linden y de la Puerta de Brandemburgo. Además está cerquísima del Mitte
Nos costó la habitación doble con ducha nos costó unos 120 € la noche
Cómo ellos dicen es como “una galería donde se puede dormir”

At Berlin we stayed at the Arte Luise Kunsthotel
Which I strongly recommend for its price, the interest and its location.

“Comprising a neo-classical residential palais from 1825 and an addition from 2003, the hotel offers almost 50 rooms, a generous lobby, and an art gallery for holding events.
All rooms were decorated by a renown artist. Sculptures in the lobby and philosophy in the stairwell accompany guests en route"

We stayed at room 101 " Drei Damen in Rot " (Three ladies of red) with very high roofs , 4 meters tall and a wall with a mural painting of three women on a red background of the German artist Elvira Bach

It is situated within view of the Reichstag building, the Spree river, Friedrichstraße, Unter den Linden, and the Brandenburg Gate. This is a historical area that has been recently attracting attention with top-flight architecture, both old and new, on both sides of the Spree. And it really is close to the Mitte.
We paid 120 € a night for a double room with a shower

As they say is a "gallery where you can spent the night"

I LOVE BERLIN

Berlín me ha cautivado, es una pasada, a pesar de ser una cuidad bastante nueva en algunas zonas por que quedó casi destruida por las bombas en la segunda guerra mundial, es cómo si revivieras la historia del siglo pasado, está presente por todas partes, la 2ª guerra mundial, el muro de Berlín , la guerra fría …
Y luego está todo lo nuevo y lo cambiante es una ciudad magnífica que te sorprende a cada esquina.
Tengo clarísimo que voy a volver, me quedé con las ganas de ver mucho y seguro que cada vez que vuelva habrá algo nuevo por descubrir, ya que es una de las ciudades más dinámicas que he conocido.
Me encantó el Mitte con su Unter den Linden (el paseo bajo los tilos) y la isla de los museos, me impresionó el museo de Pérgamo con las magníficas puertas de Babilonia y el masivo altar de Pérgamo.

El monumento al Holocausto es impresionante , cientos de bloques negros dispuestos en hileras a diferentes alturas, al meterte dentro de repente te encuentras solo aunque estés rodeado por mucha gente , la sensación es muy extraña, quizás por que cuando fuimos estaba ya anocheciendo.

Los edificios nuevos alrededor del Reichstag a orillas del río Spreee, el Reichstag mismo con su cúpula de Norman Foster, La arquitectura de los nuevos edificios de gobierno o de Postdamer platz , creados por los mejores arquitectos del mundo.Por el día se pueden considerar más o menos discretos pero pasear por la noche es una delicia, se ven los interiores espectacularmente iluminados...

La animación de las calles, las terrazas llenas de gente tomando cerveza, los kneipen (cafés), el TierGarten… En definitiva: ¡Me he enamorado!

No os cuento más por que esto se hace muy largo, os pego algunas fotos que hice por allá

Berlin has captured me, it is amazing, in spite of being a relative new town at some zones because it was almost destroyed by the bombs in the second world war, it is as is if you were re-living the history of last century, it is present all throughout, 2 ª World War, the wall of Berlin, the cold war …
And then there is everything that’s new and changeable, is a magnificent city that will surprise you at every corner.
I ‘m certain that I am going to return, there are a great many things I have to see and I’m sure that whenever I returns there will be something new to discover since it is one of the most dynamical cities that I have ever known.
I was charmed with the Mitte with the Unter den linden (The walk under the lindens) and Museums’ island; Pérgamo's museum impressed me with the magnificent doors of Babylonia and the massive Pérgamo's altar.
The monument to the Holocaust is impressive, hundreds of black blocks arranged in rows of different heights, once you get inside, you find your self alone even though you are surrounded by many people, the sensation is very strange, probably because when we were it was getting dark already.
The new buildings about the Reichstag on the banks of the river Spreee, the Reichstag itself with its Norman Foster's dome, the architecture of the new buildings of government or of Postdamer platz, created by the best architects of the world.
For the day they can be considered to be more or less discreet but to take a walk around at night it is a delight, you can see the spectacularly illuminated interiors ….
The animation of the streets, the terraces full of people drinking beer, the kneipen (coffees), the TierGarten …
Definitively: I have fallen in love!

No se cuantas veces me habré encontrado pensando… CONTROL Z (manzanita z en Mac) cada vez que se me ha caído algo al suelo o he hecho o ha pasado algo que ojalá pudiera deshacer… cómo un montón de donuts… unos bombones… humm ;-)

La misma idea ha tenido este creativo, el texto de los anuncios es :

Pantalones pitillo negros, Audrey Hepburn y la canción “Back in black”. Tres cosas que me gustan juntas en un anuncio de Gap.

“Ha vuelto. El pantalón negro extrafino” es el eslogan de la nueva campaña publicitaria de la marca de ropa Gap.

Sapporo Japanese Restaurant- Paris

Es curioso que en los alrededores de el hotel Therese (cerca de Opera y Pyramides) está todo lleno de restaurantes y tiendas japonesas incluso hay una agencia de viajes en la que solo anuncian viajes en japonés.
En la Rue Sainte Anne, 37, esquina con la Rue Therese está Sapporo un restaurante japonés, pero japonés de verdad cómo supongo que serán los de allí (¡que ganas tengo de ir a Japón!).

Nada de sushi y sashimi, allí lo que hay que tomar es un menú Ramen en el que te ponen un tazón enorme de ramen (fideos chinos de trigo) cubiertos de sopa y finalmente cubiertos con cerdo hervido, pasta de pescado naruto, brotes de bambú y vegetales como la espinaca y un bowl pequeñito con arroz blanco cubierto por pollo empanado con una salsa buenísima.
El ramen puedes pedirlo de varios sabores, Miso, salsa de soja etc
Todo ello acompañado de una cerveza japonesa Sapporo o Kirin bien fresquita.
Por la noche está hasta arriba pero hay más restaurantes japoneses cerca con la misma pinta, la próxima vez pruebo otro.

In the surroundings of the hotel Therese (near Opera and Pyramides) it is quite full of Japanese restaurants and shops; there is even a travel agency in which they only advertise trips in Japanese.
In 37, Rue Sainte Anne, at the corner with Rue Therese, you can find Sapporo Japanese restaurant, but it is a real Japanese indeed, just like I suppose a Japanese restaurant at Japan should be (I’m eager to go to Japan!)
Forget about sushi and sashimi, here what you need to order is Ramen menu which includes an enormous bowl of ramen (Chinese wheat noodles) covered of soup and finally covered with boiled pork, fish paste (naruto), bamboo and some vegetables like spinach and a small bowl with boiled white rice covered by fried chicken with a very tasty sauce
You can ask for Ramen several flavors, miso, soybean sauce, …etc
All this accompanied with a nice and cool Japanese beer Sapporo or Kirin
By night it is even all crowded up but there are more Japanese restaurants nearby with the same look, Next time I will try another one

Mi amiga Rocío me ha hablado de su amiga Ximena Maier , ilustradora a tiempo completo… (que envidia! ;-)
He visitado su página y me encanta su estilo y el humor que destilan sus dibujos.

Hotel Therese- Paris

Esta vez nos quedamos en París en el Hotel Thérèse, un tres estrellas en la rue Thérèse. Justo al lado de Opera.


Esta fenomenal situado en el corazón de la elegante Rive Droite y encontramos una oferta de habitación doble a 116 €, lo que está muy bien para París. El personal encantador y las habitaciones muy pequeñas pero muy monas puestas, clásicas, elegantes con un toque contemporáneo.
Seguro que volvemos.

This time we stayed at Paris, at the Hotel Thérèse, a three stars hotel at rue Thérèse, right next to Opera.

It couldn’t be in a better place, a perfect location, in the heart of Paris elegant Rive Droite and we found an offer for a double room for116 € witch is a very good price for Paris. Very small rooms, but with a warm, classic yet contemporary style.
We will surely return.

About Kong Restaurant. Paris

Bueno aquí va por fin mi post sobre el restaurante Kong en París, ¡me encantó a pesar de algunas cosillas!

Al llegar al edifico de Kenzo te encuentras en la calle con un escaparate con una pantalla plana, todo decorado con imágenes del Kong que te indica que hay que entrar por la puerta de la derecha. Me tuve que sacar una foto frente a el.



Después se sube en un ascensor transparente con una pantalla plana que te dice qué es lo que hay en cada planta por medio de animaciones, me gustó tanto que le grabé un mini video.




Habíamos reservado para las 10 pero no tuvieron esperando en el bar hasta las 11 y pico, al menos amenizamos la espera con unos cocktails.
Seguramente para cenar abajo en la zona de la barra y el bar no hay que esperar tanto pero arriba está a reventar, quizás demasiado, pero después de una Caipirinha y una Piña Colada… estaba de un ánimo estupendo para que me encantara el restaurante… ;-)

Volvimos a subir en ascensor hasta el ático, el salón está lleno de mesas y sillas transparentes y una gran fotografía de una geisha semi-desnuda adorna el techo (se me pasó hacerle una foto) mientras que en las pareces que no son cristalera, cuelgan pantallas donde se reproduce el making off de las fotos que adornan los muebles.

En el cuarto de baño te encuentras con este luchador de sumo infantil y la lamparita del bote de noodles. Me entraron ganas de colarme en el de chicos a ver que había en el… pero estaba ocupado
Las vistas de las que tanto nos habían hablado me decepcionaron un poco, es cierto que se ve el Pont Neuf , pero no es para tanto.



Los camareros encantadores, la carta es pequeña pero a pesar de eso la cena resultó estupenda, espectaculares los Ravioli de Gambas y cangrejo. El precio recuerdo que fue sino barato, sí razonable.
Si no quieres ir a cenar o a comer puedes ir simplemente a tomar un cocktail, además tienen horario de happy hour de 18:00 a 20:00.
Está abierto desde las 10:30 hasta las 2 de la mañana todos los días, y los domingos hay brunch.
En general creo es una visita que no hay que perderse. Me encanta el estilo oriental las luces de neón y la mezcla asiática con una cocina más mediterránea.

Well, finally here goes my post about Kong, I was loved it in spite of some small things!
We got to the Kenzo building you will find a wall at the street, with a set of Kong’s images and a flat screen that indicates you the way to enter the restaurant.
I had to take me a picture with the wall.
Then we went up in a transparent elevator with a flat screen that showed what is at each floor exists by animations, I liked so much that I recorded a mini video.

We had reserved a table at 22 p.m. but they had as waiting at the bar until 23 or so but at least we made the waiting shorter with a few cocktails.
Maybe if you are going to have dinner at the bar room it is not necessary to wait so much but at the top floor is was crowded, probably too much, but after a Caipirinha and Pina Colada … I was in a great mood to be charmed with the restaurant …;-)
Then we took again the elevator up to the attic, the lounge is full with transparent tables and chairs and is a huge photography of a seminude geisha adorns the roof
Around the room there were flat screens playing the making off of the photos applied the furniture.
In the toilette you meet this teen Sumo-fighter and this lamp made of from a cup of noodles. I wanted to slip into the boys toilette to see how it looked but it was occupied

We had been talked much about the view but it disappointed me a bit, it is true that you can see the Pont Neuf, but it’s not that much.

The waiters were charming, the menu is small but the dinner turned out to be Great, ¡spectacular the Shrimps and crab Ravioli’s!. About the price I remember that it wasn’t cheap but it was reasonable.
If you don’t want to have dinner or lunch, you can always go there to take a cocktail, besides they have a happy hour schedule from 18:00 to 20:00.
It is opened from 10:30 a. m. until 2 o'clock in the morning every day, and every Sunday there is a brunch.
I believe it is a visit that you should not loose. I loved with the oriental style, the neon lights and the Asian mixture with a Mediterranean cuisine

The Hotel Box- La Caja Hotel

Me encantan estas cajas! Hace unos meses me dio por reordenar mis zapatos y han acabado en 9 cajas blancas de Ikea apiladas en una esquina de mi habitación, pero es un completo desastre cuando me pongo a buscar un par de zapatos en concreto y desde luego no queda tan bonito.

Me encantan lo estampados y los colores.
Sus creadores dicen sobre ello: “La caja Hotel no es ni una caja ni una pieza de mobiliario, sino algo a medio camino”

I love these boxes! A couple of months ago I rearranged all my shoes they have ended up in 9 white Ikea boxes piled up in the corner of my room but It is a complete mess each time I look for a certain pair of shoes and they definitely don’t look so cool! I love the prints and colors.

Their creators say about it “the “hotel Box” is neither a box, nor a piece of furniture, but all in between”

Cut-out Curtains and lamps- Cortinas y lámparas recortables

Until Dawn es una cortina diseñada por Tord Boontje, esta hecha de Tyvek, un material de papel sintético muy fuerte. Se puede colgar de un clave con las cintas que tiene arriba y simplemente, recortar lo que sobre con unas tijeras hasta alcanzar la longitud deseada. ¡Se acabó el coser!


También es suyo el diseño de esta lámpara Midsummer Light , la pantalla esta hecha de dos capas recortadas de Tyvek y dentro tiene un un cono de mylar para mantener la pantalla lejos de la bombilla.

Until Dawn is a curtain design by Tord Boontje, It is made from Tyvek, a very strong synthetic paper material. The curtain can be hung with the double sided tape endings on the top over a wire. With scissors you can cut it to the desired length. No more sewing!

He has also designed the Midsummer Light , the lampshade is made of two layers of cut Tyvek and has a Mylar cone inside that keeps it away from the light bulb.

Además por esta idea han conseguido el leon de titanio en Cannes 2006.

El estilo de ilustración de Eric Feng (Feric) , revela su arte surrealista entre la fantasía y la realidad, una mezcla de seres naturales y mecánicos.
Muchos de sus dibujos me recuerdan a planos de ingeniería o a instrucciones de montaje. Muy interesantes.

PH Collection , es una marca de iluminación y objetos de diseño contemporáneos y que propone el diseño industrial de autor más accesible… al bolsillo. Este concepto lo han llamado “The gettable design”
Esta intención es algo que comparto totalmente con la marca cómo filosofía de diseño, pero no encuentro por ningún lado el precio de sus divertidas lámparas para ver si realmente son accesibles ;-)

Video proyección gigante - Giant video projection

¡Precioso!, debe ser impresionante verlo en directo.
Esto es una video-proyección gigante, realizado por Easyweb , especialistas en video proyección monumental sobre las fachadas de una plaza de Dijon, en Francia.
En las navidades del 2004 estuve en Lisboa, Portugal y en la plaza principal “Plaza Do Comerço” había unas proyecciones de luz color y música, espectaculares, pero esto es mucho más impresionante.

Paredes que cambian de color - Color changing walls

Alsa ha creado “Eclipse”, una base reactiva al calor que cambia de negro a blanco o de azul a blanco. Puede ser rociado por cualquier equipo de pintura estándar.


También se puede aplicar con un producto llamado “Candy concentrate” que hace posible que una gran gama de colores y acabados.


No se si pintaría mi casa con esto, pero es divertido para usar en objetos más pequeños, aunque esta bañera queda un poco hortera ;-)

Además muy trabajado, se trata del corto “Lo que tú Quieras Oír” de Guillermo Zapata, el autor eligió moverlo en Internet y en la blogsfera en vez de en festivales, estuvo durante tres meses enlazando los blogs que hablaban sobre el tema o posteaban el video, al final las visitas en youtube superaron con mucho a la página del corto.
Poder ver algo en youtube facilita mucho la viralidad vía blogs.
De hecho celebra en su blog las 20.000 visitas en youtube, y explica cómo lo ha conseguido.

Además la historia está muy bien! A ver si lo presenta en festivales y gana! Buena suerte!

He leído en el magazine de El Mundo que se ha inaugurado una tienda Kiehl's
En la calle Fuencarral 37, se trata de una firma de cosmética unisex que abrió sus puertas en Nueva York en 1.851.

En cuanto pueda voy a ir a visitarla, no hago más que oír maravillas sobre sus productos, cómo el bálsamo labial Lip Balm #1 o la Creme de Corps.

Me da a mi que barata no va a ser, pero ya os contaré que tal, en cuanto me pase y vuelva a casa con la bolsa llena y el bolsillo vacío.

A mi me parece genial y con un gran potencial, para proyectar en paredes o suelos. Ya había visto algo parecido en el campo de la decoración para crear ambientes, con agua que se mueve o hojas que se apartan a tu paso, pero me parece muy buena la utilización para publicidad. ¡Y parece muy divertido!

I already had seen something similar in the decorations field, to create ambient, images of water or leaves that moves away from your step.
But the use at advertising seems very good to me. ¡And it looks really fun!

Hace poco he descubierto a este ilustrador, Klaus Haapaniemi, supongo que muchos lo conoceréis, pero yo estoy un poco verde en estas cosas…



Es un ilustrador finlandés, aunque vive y trabaja en Londres, con una gran imaginación que crea visuales surrealistas y con un punto naïve, o cómo de la Europa del este antes de la caída del comunismo, es sólo una impresión…
A mi me ha encantado, por los colores, formas y temática, a ver que os parece.



Uno de sus clientes más grande es Cacharel

I have just discovered this illustrator, Klaus Haapaniemi, I guess that most of you already now about him… He is a Finnish illustrator with a great imagination who creates gorgeous surrealistic visuals with naïve point to it.
I just loved his work, because of the colors, the shapes and the themes, tell me think about it.
One of his biggest clients is Cacharel.
You can see in the background that the set-up was decorated by him, by the way I love the dress.
